what? say what?

today i stumbled into something on the net: it’s a teaser video for a wrangler jeans site.
it’s quite nice, and i’ll get to the link in a sec, but i’m writing to you about this because it reminded me of something i saw a few weeks ago… a short video animation of a pulp fiction dialogue, that apparently was ripped-off very quickly. so i made a few quick google searches and this is what i came up with:

21.2.07 - this motion piece by jarrat moody is posted here (first time i think)
23.2.07 - the same video is added to youtube
1-10.3.07 - posted on many design blogs etc… (cpluv for example)
4.07 - wrangler makes teaser video site, u can see for yourself where they got the inspiration… (maybe they hired the guy who did the original? i doubt it)

so, i dont know what my point is exactly, figure it out for yourself…

update: 17.5.06 (a year before) - is this the one that started this whole thing?
