Lately I’ve done some research about using video online and what are the current/future trends, and now I think its official that full-screen-video is very trendy, and for good reasons I might say. So here are a few links for you, even if you don’t care about such things you might enjoy a few nice videos:

specialten.tv - a channel that specilizes in indie music/topics, very mysterious feel…
neave.tv - another channel of sorts, also less mainstream content.
liveroom.tv - taped live music shows from indie bands, check out the full screen option.
oreseg.com , rimo.tv , darao.tv - flash full-screen interfaces for you-tube, from japan.
eye.kddi.com - that’s how the you-tube interface would look if yugop would have done it.

vbs.tv - content channel, director spike jonze is head of content or something.
ztv.se - a swedish channel, pretty flash inteface.
reshet.tv - an israeli channel, with a ‘video machine’ with some nice features.

joost.com - probably the most talked about project recently, a kind of real online tv.

I’ve just realised something:  dot tv is also very trendy now… I guess the good people of Tuvalu (that I never heard of until I looked up the .tv domain meaning) are quite happy now.

And now for something completely different: Blonde Redhead have a new album, ‘23′. It’s very lovely.

hey, thanks for the link collection – going to check them out. the new blonde redhead album! hellyeah. Johannes and I are big fans of the band since years and there’s no single day in the office without listening to them - currently mainly to “23″. we’ve been quite sceptical about the production of the new record in the beginning (for different reasons), but then after some listening it grew to become a favorite again. my favorite song is “publisher”. I’m getting gooseflesh whenever I’m listening to it. Which is your favorite song?

i’m not sure, this album is still ‘growing on me’…
‘publisher’ is a good one for sure, right now i like ‘the dress’ and ’sw’ too.
about the production - i had a strange feeling at first as well, but i really like it now (though sometimes i do miss the really early sound of them).
