precious was founded by Johannes Schardt and Christophe Stoll, who also run
a record label called 2nd rec. precious is available for lectures and workshops.
Johannes worked as an Art Director and Designer for defcom Webdressing in Berlin for clients such as MTV, Ableton, avigo (REWE Travel) and UFA Film & TV Produktion before he moved to Hamburg in 2003. He also runs the online music mailorder sonicane.
From February 2000 to October 2005, Christophe was a Creative Director and Designer at the Hamburg office of Fork Unstable Media. He worked for international clients such as Beiersdorf (NIVEA, Labello, 8x4, SBT), Spectrum Brands (Varta, Remington) and Native Instruments and he was a judge at the 83rd Annual Awards of the Art Directors Club New York in 2004. If he finds time, he produces and releases music as Nitrada.
In March 2006, Philipp Granzin joined precious. At the tender age of 16, when his peers still played with Lego, he started to build major websites. Most of his clients came from the music and entertainment industry - like Native Instruments, which Christophe and Johannes worked for as well. Instead of competing, we decided to cooperate. Philipp lives and works in Berlin.
